Triangle GH is a French Organization of International Solidarity that has been implementing activities in Timor Leste since 2005 in the fields of water & sanitation and psychosocial activities.
Triangle GH stands as the water sector lead for the District Water Supply, Sanitation & Hygiene Services (DWASH) Program.
2. Post title
Water Technician Facilitator
3. Number of vacancies:
5 posts
4. Duty station
Manatuto district – rural areas: 3 posts
Oecusse district –rural areas: 2 posts.
5. Main Duties
- Support and train the national water NGOs working for the DWASH program to implement the activities related to the water sector
- Take part in the planning of the water related activities;
- Respect the planning and the designs agreed upon
- Be responsible for material and program equipment on site;
6. Skills required
- Good knowledge and experience in implementation of rural water supply programs, in several of the following sectors: Community engagement process; DNSAS regulations and policies; water survey assessment; design of water supply systems; GMF; construction and supervision works: pipeline and civil engineering.
- Aware of the links between water, hygiene, public health, environment
- Experience and strong capacity to transfer skills to counterparts (members of water NGOs) in community engagement process; technical assessment; engineering designs; supervision of works.
- Capacity to manage a team (NGOs’ staff and community workers)
- Capacity to facilitate solving issues at community level
- Driving license (motorbike)
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Epanet) is a plus.
