SECURITY GUARD
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To protect WVTL staff and property so that staff are able to achieve WVTL’s goals. 
Untuk melindungi staff dan asset  WVTL  sehingga  staff dapat  mencapai  sasaran/tujuan dari WVTL.

Major Responsibilities:

1.      Ensure the safety and security of all WVTL staff.
Memastikan keselamatan dan keamanan untuk semua staff WVTL.
2.      Protect and safeguard all WVTL property and assets.
Menjaga dan memiliki semua asset dan milik WVTL.
3.      Respond to an emergency situation in a timely and effective manner.
Menanggapi  setiap situasi darurat dengan efektif dan tepat pada waktunya.
·         Fire/Kebakaran
·         Medical Emergency/Pengobatan keadaan darurat
·         Threats to WVTL staff or property/-ancaman terhadapstaff atau asset WVTL.
4.      Behave at all times in accordance with WV Policies and training received.
Bertingkah laku dalam setiap waktu sesuai dengan kebijakan WVTL dan menerima training.
5.      Ensure all security Standard Operating Procedures and Policies are adhered to by all staff.
Memastikan semua standar prosedur operasi keamanan dan kebijakan yang  diikuti/ditaati oleh  semua staff.
6.      Provide 24 hour, 7 day guard service, based on a shift pattern.  Menyediakan pelayanan 24 jam,   7 hari  dinas keamanan, berdasarkan  perubahan waktu/pola.

The Government of Ireland, under the Bilateral Aid Programme of the Department of Foreign Affairs (known as Irish Aid), offers a number of Study Fellowship Awards annually to candidates from Irish Aid’s programme countries (namely - Ethiopia, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Timor-Leste, Uganda, Vietnam and Zambia), to further their education in Ireland or within their own region.

Fellowships are offered in areas which are particularly relevant to the development of the individual’s home country. 

  • Fellowships are offered at Postgraduate Diploma/Masters level.  

We encourage applications for study in the areas of Conflict Resolution, Gender Equality, Local Government, Private Sector Development and Employment Creation

The applicant is normally in employment in their home country and would obtain leave from their employer for the period of study. On completion of the course the applicant would resume employment in their home country where the qualification would be expected to enhance their own development and contribute towards the continued development of their country.

  • English Language Certification is a requirement and a candidate must have achieved a minimum overall score of 6.5 in IELTS or 570 in TOEFL.  Higher scores are required for certain courses.

Position: Administrative/Finance Assistant (Service Contract)
Project: DNE/UNFPA Census Project
Duty Station: National Statistics Directorate (DNE), Ministry of Finance
Duration: 1 year with possibility of renewal, (three months probation period apply)
Commencing: Immediate
Background
The National Statistics Directorate (DNE) plans to conduct next Population and Housing Census in July, 2010. In abide to strengthen the census office, UNFPA intends to hire a qualified national staff to perform administrative and financial duties within the census project. The functions related to the post include:-

Administrative related:
1.      Ensure that UNFPA and government’s policies and procedures are adhered to.
2.      Maintain proper filling system, ensuring safe keeping of confidential files
3.      Process request for visa, security clearance and MOP for travellers
4.      Ensure that all Census  project staff understand and properly set out claim forms and all travel claims procedures
5.      Oversee the operations of project vehicles, drivers and other project staffs.
6.      Maintain Census Project assets and records as required.
7.      Provide logistical support to the overall project activities.
8.      Perform other duties as requested by the Director – DNE or Chief Technical Adviser Census Project.
Financial related:
1.      Process payments for project staff salaries, allowances and DSAs including other payments in Atlas.
2.      Assists in preparing and monitoring the Census Project budget and ensures the compliance of rules and internal control practice.
3.      Provide financial information for census project by activity or phases and assists in information analysis.
4.      Perform any other duties as may be needed from time to time.
Education: At least completion of Secondary School or preferably with the Bachelor Degree education in Finance, Administration or relevant Social Science with relevant experience. Specialized certification in Administration or Finance would be an added advantage.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant administrative experience is required. Experience in the usage of computer and office software package (MS Word, Excel, Power point, outlook and email/internet browser indispensable) and experience in handling of web based management system will be an asset.

Language requirements: Fluency in written and spoken English. Indonesia and Portuguese languages are an advantage.

Other competencies: Service oriented approach, problem solving and action oriented, excellent verbal communication skills, excellent drafting skill.

  • To support  to the TGH’s deputy logistic officer in his functions (offices) and replace him / her in case of absence.
  • To anticipate and animate of the respect the purchase process of TGH intern / extern in to the project
  • To help the procurement and logistic team in Dili in order to monitor the TGH’s vehicle maintenance and periodical services.
  • To be a liaison between the warehouse in Dili and the TGH’s office arranging the loading and off loading of the delivered or the received goods.
  • Following the delivered good to the destination and issuing the necessary document.
  • To work on contact with the deputy logistic officer in Dili, in order to supply him / her maximum of support in his / her daily work.
  • To follow the vehicles fuel refilling in daily basis

6.      Skills required
  • Good knowledge and experience in logistic, preferable past experience with international NGOs.
  • Good speaking and writing English language – Tetun and Bahasa Indonesia.

  • Minimum experience in a similar domain of logistic.

  • Capacity to facilitate and solving issues at administrative level.
