Timor-Leste Country Manager, Dili – READVERTISED, OPEN UNTIL FILLED

The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ is an international development organisation dedicated to restoring sight and reducing avoidable blindness and vision impairment in the Pacific, Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste. 

Hollows NZ is currently seeking a dynamic leader with superior relationship management and problem-solving skills to lead the delivery of its comprehensive eye health program in Timor-Leste.

Working with government and local partners, as well as major international donors, the Timor-Leste Country Manager will be leading an enthusiastic and dedicated team of Timorese and expatriate staff at an exciting time in the program’s development.  Strong strategic and organizational management skills, as well as a commitment to evidence-based planning are essential.

Reporting to the Auckland-based International Programs Director, the Country Manager should have a proven background managing complex programs in public health or development, with preference given to those with eye health experience.

The successful candidate will be offered a package competitive to the local market with accommodation, transport and health insurance included. Please note that this is an unaccompanied post.
