The Justice Facility

The Justice Facility has been established by the Government of Timor Leste and Australia to support the Timorese justice Sector Agencies and Civil Society. The facility has a multinational team member and currently looking for addtional Timorese staff:

Activity Liaison Officer

REPORTS TO: Facility Manager (FM)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent will:

1. At the direction of the FM, provide support to the secretariat function of the FMG / CoC Committee, including translation, collation of documents, distribution, follow-up, and interpretation.
2. Provide assistance in maintain and build the Justice Facility library of books and documents, including recent reports on capacity and institution building and related matters produced by other donors.

As time permits and at the direction of the FM, and working in collaboration with, and under the guidance and authority of, a designated adviser or advisers or the FM:

3. Serve as a channel of communication between the Justice Facility Office and partners on activities proposed and managed by the Facility.
4. Assist with interpretation and translation in areas other than those specified above.
5. Assist in data collection, research and generation of data for activity designs and implementation.
6. Arrange for appointments with GoTL, and other organizations/donors on matters related to Justice Facility activities.
7. Assist in workshop preparation and administration.
8. Maintain and keep up-to-date Program activity files.
9. Provide other administrative and logistical support to Justice Facility activities.
10. Assist in the induction of International and Local Advisers of Justice Facility.
11. Perform other functions as may be required by the Facility Manager.
