JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

CWS Timor Leste is currently looking for suitably qualified and experienced East Timorese Nationals the following posts:

1. Project Manager, 1 post will be offered
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Highly required in completion of Degree of Management, Agricultures and Social Economy
  • At least 3 years proven experience in managing Agriculture and/or Social entrepreneurship / micro finance based project (Having facilitation and leadership skill and training experience is an advantage)
  • Experience in handling and managing USAID based project , understanding of its regulation is an advantage
  • Analytical and conceptual ability; communication, planning and monitoring area
  • Have a good project financial & project monitoring and reporting skills (is an advantage)
  • Ability to make timely and quality judgments and decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate or negotiate
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships as a part of a team work
  • Good command of both written and spoken English is a must
  • Excellent Computer skill (spreadsheet & word processing)
  • Willing to travel and work frequently in the field

2. Technical Project Officer, 2 posts will be offered
QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Completion of Diploma or Higher Degree of Agriculture or Social Economy
  • At least 2 years proven experience on Agriculture and/or livelihood based project (Having facilitation and leadership skill and training experience is an advantage)
  • Analytical and conceptual ability; communication, planning and monitoring area
  • Ability to organize work & projects
  • Have a good project financial & project monitoring and reporting skills (is an advantage)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate or negotiate
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships as a part of a team work
  • Good command of both written and spoken English is essential
  • Proficiency with word processing & spreadsheet
  • Willing to travel and work frequently in the field

3. Finance / Administrative Assistant, 1 post will be offered
QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Completion of Diploma in Accounting or Economic
  • At least 2 years proven experience in Accounting and related field experience
  • A good financial monitoring and reporting skills
  • Accurate, consistent and responsible for work
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate or negotiate
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and establish harmonious and effective working relationships as a part of a team work
  • Good command of both written and spoken English is essential
  • Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet
  • Ability in administration handling including correspondence and filing management.
  • Willing to travel and work frequently in the field if required
