JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the general supervision of the Radio Producer and the immediate supervision of the Senior Radio Production Assistant, the incumbent will be responsible for the production of radio programs including public service announcement, new stories, features and documentaries for local use and the operation of a diverse range of audio production equipment, including broadcast and production consoles, digital audio work stations, computer assisted radio automation system and other studio equipment as required to enable the successful production of United Nation radio program; Confer with radio producers in order to determine and achieve the desired effects for a production and record, synchronize, mix or reproduce audio content for transmissions, performances or pre-recorded events; Work with radio team to provide journalism/production training to local radio journalist where/when needed; Write, record, edit and mix for broadcast original radio programs, announcements, features and news segments, as required; Prepare printed rundowns, scripts and archive. Undertake research, interviewing, scriptwriting and technical production duties as necessary. Provide clerical and logistics support when assisgned.

Technological awareness – Knowledge and experience in audio production technology and related system (e.g.CoolEditpro/Adobe Audition Single/Multi-tract and/or Word/WordPad)
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Completion of secondary education; technical training and certifications in radio journalism or broadcasting, communications, public information, or a particular communications medium is an asset.
Experience : A minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible professional experience in the field of radio journalism, communications or public relations is required.
Languages: Fluency in English and Tetum is required, Portuguese and Bahasa Indonesia is desirable.
