TERMS OF REFERENCE
Project Administrator of the Reforestation and Family Income Project (Manatuto)
Duty station: Manatuto District
Duration: Four (4) to sixteen (16) months.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Administrator will be working under the direct supervision of the International Advisor. The Administrator will perform the following tasks:
· Manage aspects of the project together with the Financial Manager and the International Advisor;
· Coordinate the activities of the extensionists together with the International Advisor;
· Act as the liaison between the project and other Government and non-government agencies within Manatuto district;
· Assist in the development of work plans and monitor the implementation of the plans;
· Assist the extensionists with mobilising community members in order to achieve project objectives;
· Assist in the development of training in rural development and environmental awareness;
· Assist the financial manager in the development of annual reports;
· Perform any other tasks as may be required by the project.
Recruitment Qualifications:
· Completion of university degree in office management and administration or agriculture, or secondary education with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the administration of development projects.
· Specialized training in office management and administration is highly desirable.
· Fluency in oral and written Tetum is essential. Knowledge of Portuguese and English is an advantage.
