Position: General Manager
Location: Arte Moris Cultural Centre, Comoro, Dili Application Deadline: 15-Dec-09 Languages Required: Tetun, English Starting Date: 02-Jan-2010 Duration of Contract: six months extendable
Bibi Bulak:
Bibi Bulak is a Timorese organization born in 2000, dedicated to dramatic arts and music. It provides trainings in theatre and linked areas to young people, as well as implements various projects such as public performances, radio dramas and films.
Bibi Bulak is mostly involved in public education and consciousness arising on development issues.
We are looking for a General Manager to work on the Administration, develop projects, deal with partners, lead people and build objectives.
He/she will be working with 2 permanent staff: Finance Officer and Program Coordinator.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Check finances
- Find partners and donors, develop the network
- Write proposals, prepare reports
- Legal issues
- Contracts and job descriptions
- Individual evaluations and follow up of human resources issues
- Practical organization of the arrival of International partners
- Responsible for internal and external communication
- Development of management and administration tools
- Analysis of the Bibi Bulak activities and formulation of plans and objectives
- Preparation of General Assemblies
- Responsible for the security
Qualifications and abilities:
- University degree in relevant area
- Previous professional experience in management
- Interest for arts
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills
- Capacity to lead, to take responsibilities and to work independently.
- Good organizational skills
- Capacity to work in team and to communicate with diplomacy
