Emergency Program Coordinator

Plan Timor-Leste wishes to recruit an Emergency Program Coordinator to join its ECHO Emergency Program.
Plan is an International NGO that works in over 45 Countries to achieve lasting improvements in the quality of live of children, young people and families. It has been working in Timor-Leste since 2001.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work closely with the Emergency Program Manager and take over responsibility for managing the Emergency Program. The Emergency Program Coordinator will:
- Coordinate day-to-day Emergency Program activities and support to field staff and Advisers
- Provide advice on matters relating to IDPs and camp services provided by Plan
- Assist with the development, implementation and review of Plan's emergency response
- Review agreements with partners and partner activities
- Conduct training needs analyses for emergency staff
- Coordinate training programs for emergency staff
- Manage performance of emergency staff
- Provide input for ECHO reporting and assist with writing reports
Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will have:
- University degree in a related subject (development, management, social science preferred)
- Experience working in an international INGO, preferably in emergency programs
- Project management experience
- Monitoring and evaluation experience
- Experience working in children's programs
- Experience working with people from a wide range of skills and backgrounds
- Fluent in Tetum and English
