GOOD GOVERNANCE, TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY PROGRAM OPPORTUNITY IN TIMOR-LESTE

DAI, a global international development consulting firm headquartered in Washington, DC, USA seeks to fill multiple positions to support an anticipated U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded good governance and transparency program in Timor-Leste.

Long- and short-term positions under the program will be based in Dili, and will be filled by local and international experts in the following technical areas:
• Good governance—including anti-corruption, transparency and accountability
• Civil service reform and public administration
• Policy reform and/or legislative drafting
• Parliamentary strengthening
• Institutional capacity-building
• monitoring and evaluation
• Law and criminal justice, including investigations and prosecutions
• Public outreach and public education campaigns
• Media and civil society capacity building

In addition, we are seeking candidates to serve in the following positions:
• Grants and subcontracts management
• Finance and administration
• Operations and logistics
• Accounting
• Procurement
• Office management

The following qualifications are mandatory:

1. Knowledge and Education
• University education
• Work experience in the implementation of donor assistance projects
• Knowledge and experience in providing presentations and written reports

2. Job Skills
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Computer proficiency (in Word and Excel)
• Excellent report writing skills
• Excellent teamwork skills, including interpersonal and communication skills

3. Languages
• Good written and spoken English language abilities, preference with candidates with Indonesian and/or Portuguese language skills

Priority will be given to candidates with good governance employment history.
