JOB VACANCY – OFFICE MANAGER

The Australian Embassy in East Timor is seeking a person with appropriate skills, experience and maturity for the position of Office Manager.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • High level of skill and documented experience in human resource management
  • High level of office administration and financial management skills with an appropriate tertiary qualification or equivalent experience;
  • Proficiency in the use of computer-based software applications (MS Office);
  • Highly developed client liaison and service delivery skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with external organizations;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Tetum and/or Indonesian. Knowledge of Portuguese would be an advantage;
  • Ability to take initiative, work unsupervised, multi-task and manage time efficiently;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated flexibility, judgment and ability to work in a team environment;
  • Honesty and integrity;
  • Willingness to work additional hours if required.

Salary

The Gross Salary will be in the range of USD1200 – 1500 per month depending on the experience of the applicant.
