We have established successful alliances with various internationally renowned companies and have been an important player in assisting them to achieve their goals in Timor Leste as efficiently and economically as possible.

Caltech is now seeking for qualified and potential candidates to fill in four (4) available positions of  Engineering Design Trainees

General Description of Job

The Design Trainees will assist in the production of design and engineering requirements on major projects with our alliance partners. Work activities will include:

·         Assisting in the production of drawing and document design

·         Back drafting of design drawings for mark-ups

·         Assisting in the production of conceptual layouts and site surveys

·         Completion of a comprehensive competency based training program

To be successful in this role you will require:

·         Completion of Tertiary Level Engineering or Design Certificate, Diploma or Degree in relevant area

·         Mathematics and Computing skills 

·         Proficiency with written and spoken English language

·         Industry specific experience is desirable, but not essential

·         Experience in 2D and 3D computer design/modelling software is desirable, but not essential

·         Interpersonal skills to work productively in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other disciplines.
