Gender Specialist: Ita Nia Rai program (ARD Inc)
The local gender specialist will be responsible for integrating and mainstreaming gender issues within the USAID-funded Strengthening Property Rights in Timor-Leste project. To be considered, candidates must be a Timor-Leste national. Candidates should also have the following qualifications:- 3-5 years of progressively responsible work experience in a relevant field
- university degree required
- formal training in gender or other relevant social science would be an advantage
- fluency in written and spoken English and Tetum required. Working knowledge of Indonesian and Portugese an advantage.
- Computer literacy required
- Previous experience working for an international organization.
The position will be based in Dili with travel to the districts. Women candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
